Bridgeport is a very mission-minded congregation. We reach out
in many ways. One of which is supporting Connellsville
Ministries, a ministry to the disadvantaged in the Connellsville
area
Through our United Methodist Women's organization, we assist the
local "Layette" ministry by providing various items needed by
mothers when they leave the hospital with new babies.
Bible School is an Outreach Ministry as we welcome all children
to our "Safe Sanctuary" for fun and to learn about Jesus.
We continue to provide "Emergency" supplies to UMCOR which
answers the call when disasters strike. This year we are
providing School Kits and Health Kits.
We also are very active in "Samaritan's Purse," the ministry to
children all over the world sponsored by the Franklin Graham
organization.
Through all of these ministries, we are about "making disciples
of Jesus Christ."
